What would batman do?

today was, as matt so wittingly put it "eventful, for you". i woke up (BEFORE NOON! ZOMGSTFU!) and discovered furniture was sort of being installed in my parents room, so i went downstairs for my breakfast of tea and.. wait.. it was just tea. aaaaaanyway. my cousin ruth is staying with us durng the day this week cos her parent (yes, singular) has to work. she's starting secondary school on monday.. i beleive she's going to the floyd. anyway. its a bit odd cos she seems older than some year sevens i met last year who will now be going into year eight... anyway, i digress.

i rang school today and talked to mrs kennedy about changing, and i'm now doing English, Communication Studies, Computing and History.. but it was suggested to me i change from computing and i was all like o_O cos i got the required grade and everything. bah. i'm still doing it (as i said)

My younger sister, my cousin and me went for a walk to the nearby shop. it was hot. i was the only one of us with any money to speak of, so i forked out the cash for them to each have an icepop worth like 30p (i'm so generous) while i bought myself a can of red bull.

after a short rest, i helped wash the car (no, i didn't help by 'organising'. god. i'm not THAT lazy) and after that i went for a walk by myself to jansel square and bought some coke. i COULD have just gone to the same shop again, especially since it's a little closer, but hey i was feeling energetic. and i had music, man. so hush. i was mainly listening to warning today (the album, not the single repeated over and over.. 'tis not wires..) and "Blood, Sex and Booze" still rocks.

Neil "gave" me a red bull button. i added it. and made my own "kick" one! woo!

Things that go bump in the night

got up at around.. one, yesterday and sort of.. floated around till four, and then got dropped of at alex's house. where they were.. playing cricket in the garden. it was quite hot, and more so after some bouncing around on the trampoline. stuff happened. there was a bbq, and um. yeah. matt failed to show up (he was apparantly in devon) um. there was a water/ice fight, mainly between andy and hebs.. who both got soaked.. at least twice... i think after they dried off we moved into the tent, where i beleive some people attempted to play twister. but that didn't last long.. i vaugely remember charades........... but the least said about that the better.

after a while everyone ended up in their sleeping bags, OBVIOUSLY following gillis' lead. (all the cool kids were doing it...)the lights went out, and "everyone went to sleep". which really just means that everyone stopped talking, and probably tried to sleep. i was feeling a bit restless, and being me, didn't really expect to sleep, so i was just lieing down, just thinking. i find it extremely annoying that i can have a perfectly clear head at stupid o'clock in the morning but during the hours normal people are awake i'm either asleep or in a fuggy haze...

the whole being very awake and being surrounded by people who are asleep thing was made more annoying by the fact that i had no friggin idea what time it was. i miss my watch.. and my phone.. stupid.. time..

...anyway, as a result of having no way of knowing the time i don't know when it was i went out to sit down and gaze at the stars. i wish i'd had my glasses, because out where alex's house is, there's no light pollution, so you can see the stars.. like a sky littered with diamonds.. i just lay there under the stars for a while, with my sleeping bag wrapped around me (it was cold... even with the damn sleeping bag)

at some point i got back into the tent, but decided to stay in the main bit, instead of risking waking up andy or dave, as i thought i might go back out later. (to see the sunrise, or just stargaze again) at some point, (woo, vauge time again) sami and alex woke up, or got up, or whatever. the three of us went to the front of the house , to see if we could see the sunrise. the view from the gate would have been pretty stunning, the dark blue and orange sky, the trees and fields.. were it not for the friggin electricity pylons... after that, we went round the back again, and the others slowly started waking up too, starting with andy. we were locked out of the house all night, so when alex's brother came down at half six or seven or whenever it was, we went inside.

most of the rest of stuff is a blur, induced by tiredness. i know we watched monty pythons the meaning of life, and i know i managed to locate all by myself all the necessary ingredients and tools for a cup of tea. i celebrated and then realised i had no idea where the cups were -_- but it didn't take long to find them either. breakfast happened somehow, and there was a BB gun and smash bros. but mostly after that i remember being annoyed at parents for waking me up after only about 4 hours sleep when i got home... so there we have it.

Hmmm hm Hmm hm hm!

so instead of annoying people by sending out an email.. i did this and am posting it HERE. yay.

Not so Black Thursday

well, today was judgement day. and as i said to simon, my results were.. good enough.. i'm not going to post them (tom.. jonny..) and i didn't make any official predictions to anyone but myself and even then for whatever it was i would have prefixed it with and "around a..." oh well. anyway. i should probably use this as a method of learning from my mistakes, and next year, do my coursework.. properly.. and on time.. and maybe even revise. a little. maybe. i make no promises to anyone, not even me, however.

well, apart from that.. went to see the island today, with alex, matt, tom, jonny and sami. it was good, i guess. i'm really good at the whole "apathetic" thing, don'tcha think? anyway. i had ice cream for breakfast and sugary popcorn for lunch, punctuated with kick and coke and so forth.

yup. oh. and alex is having people around on sunday. i've been instructed to not bring too much vodka.. but my opinion of "too much" seems more than slightly different to alex's... :)

No Bravery

so it's been about 2 weeks. i just got back from the emerald isle, in time for results tomorrow.. ..yay... anyway. about those two weeks. originally i was keeping a sort of miniblog on my phone, with a sentence or so for each day.. but on monday i.. "misplaced" my phone, and it hasn't been seen since.. so.. that was scrapped. lets see what i can recall breifly.. working backwards.. there was quadbiking. which was cool. the sea off of blackwater beach is still as cold as it is wet.. saw some DVDs, played Halo 2 with 3 of my cousins (fun) watched MGS3 be completed, and played it a bit.. my dad bought james blunt's album, it's pretty good. so yeah.

Holy day

so we're all packed up and ready to go to ireland tomorrow. gotta get up at 7:30 in the morning! who knew such a time even existed...! you shouldn't hear from me till the 24th.. even if i get access to a pc between now and then.

Hmmm... well, i've been awake since i got up on wednesday? afternoon. yeah. so i'm going to go to sleep in a bit.. but a quick post first...

after some lieroing and some yakking i appear to be going to see the fanastic four on saturday, assuming i can scrounge the cash from my 'rents.. and maybe.. just MAYBE enough spare change for some sugary popcorn, seeing as how i missed out when i went to see madagascar. hmmm.. i was tired when i went to see that movie too.. and to think earlier i was thinking about how i'm not so tired all the time outside of school (WARNING: the preceding sentence mentioned school. if you do not wish to be reminded that you have to return there in about a month, ignore it. you should also choose to ignore this warning, as it will serve as a reminder itself)

now what else... i think i shall plug this song i have heard many times on the radio, it is called "Got None" and it is by some norwegian bloke named Robert Post. i would suggest giving it a listen as it sounds rather snazzy, and it's been stuck in my head for FOREVER now. or a few days. anyway, i'ma finish my tea and go sleep

AAAAAAAH! now, for those with severe mental retardation, august is a bad thing because on the 25th of this particular month we will be receiving our GCSE exam results. mittens. on a stick. thats in Aproximately THREE WEEKS !!!!!!!!!!!!
