I was there

And thus happened another friday. apparantly we've been back at school for a month now, but thinking about it since we didn't start on the first it hasn't even been a whole month. sheesh. and somthing like two weeks ago it felt like forever! what's two times infinity?

anyway, bus-ing and tesco-ing happened, without major event. registration was normal, and assembly was done by some people who must have been either on drugs when they wrote the assembly, or had talked to matt far too much. or were just suffering from brain damage. they were supposed to talk about teamwork, and they linked it to pink floyd AND these odd extinct.. things.. called graptolites.

anyway, on the way out of assembly neil handed me what i can only describe as a pastafarian pamphlet of conversion. he gave them out to other people too if im not mistaken..

after that was just lessons. same old stuff, english, talking about the scene in the tempest i was supposed to have read and made notes on, but didn't even read (ah, it happened so fast.. i didn't even last a month!) then comm studies, where i was supposed to have notes prepared for the essay. which i couldn't even remember the tittle of, so needless to say i was winging it, but oh well

break was overseen by a loud sort of drilling noise from the library.. and history was more political shtuffs, about politics. and reform. and stuff. pretty dull, really. after that, went to the gate for a very short period of time, and made tom go back to his laptop to get my CD. anyway, we ended up going to HMV, where matt bought advance wars for the DS, and 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours (Green day. one of the non major label ones) i had a listen to the first couple of tracks while matt and alex were nerding it up with the DS, and wondered aloud if friday period 7 + 8 was some sort of geek-catch up thing, what with the manga DVD watching the week before (that i missed) and the whole DSing, and i'm pretty sure one of these 7/8 sessions has been spent laptopping/psping, so yeah.

there were more squirrels! trust no one (named jonathan fung)!

Disenchanted Lullaby

I may be scattered, a little shattered, what does it matter~

school happened, as it does. bus, kick, homework in extended reg, programing in computing, politics in history, coke at break, shakespeare in english, and then a BUSINESS meeting at lunchtime.. yeah. that was ok. heh. i think mainly what we decided was that some of the directors have to do some research, we didn't pick a logo, and we went over the company rules. i was jigging like mad at the start of that meeting.. just like yesterday. if it happens tomorrow lunchtime i might have to consider cutting back on my drugs.. or actually eating breakfast or somthing.. maybe it was just lightheadedness caused by hunger or somthing. it's also entirely possible i'm just going crazy. well, crazier. there's no way i'm still 100% sane.

stuff stuff stuffity stuff stuff.. damn, still got some of that energy. pity it's cold out.. or i'd go for a walk.. in fact i might do that anyway.. i should probably NOT stop in one of the shops and get a can of red bull during it though.. unless... nah, no monies..

September 28, 2005

Don't just stand there, do somthing

same shi.. same STUFF, different day. so it was a wednesday, and mainly what happened is what happens on a wednesday. you know, the whole school thing, with double history then double comms and then PSHE and then computing and finally fencing. although not REALLY finally because then there's japanese.

its entirely possible that if i don't get a locker, my back will go on strike. or break. or emmigrate to mexico and start a new life as a hat salesman.

anyway, i felt odd today. really weird. i think i know what it is, but that doesn't mean i'm gonna tell YOU. you degenerate hippy, with your stubble and your laziness and your lack of a job.. wait.. thats me! damnit, stupid intrapersonal communication leaking out again..

anyway, i don't feel the need to elaborate on any of my lessons today. truth be told i can't fully remember them, and even sorta had to strain to remember what i actually had today... that can't be good. i hope i was taking notes, or at the very least i hope i know someone who DID take notes, and would only mind a little if i stole them.

i started BOTH of the last two paragraph majigs with the word anyway. i was about to do it again just now, but i have to pay attention to things like that. unlike dr bond would have us beleive, iteration isn't everything.

hmm.. i just remembed. i saw what i will now call a doormouse despite expecting it to not be accurate. i'm calling it a doormouse cause it was some sorta rodent, and i saw it pretty much just in front of my door after i opened it to go to school. strange mouse.

curiouser and curiouser

September 27, 2005

Breaking my back just to know your name~

something somthing then you'll see, you'll avoid catastrophe! anyway, tuesday. tum ti tum. methinks that not much happened in registration, so yeah. assembly.. there was that assembly.. about.. steven hawking? and stuff. anyway, after that was english, more ranting about browning, some crazy poem about some dodgy monk. free period after that, some musicing, some talking, alex decided he couldn't draw because his mad scientist looked like a hobo, and.. er.. oh yeah! this is really bad chronologically, but screw it, it's my blog and i'll write it as disjointedly as i damn well please. i beleive i forgot to mention yesterday that dave snuck into our japanese class.. like a wrinkly ninja.. or.. not....

anyway. after i blogged yesterday, i was reluctantly taught how to iron my own shirts. the black shirt i'm wearing tomorrow.. i have ironed myself :o so yeah. after that, i helped my dad deliver these weird pool league table things.. match listings or somthing..

anyway, back to today. history was stuff about foregin secretaries again, and it became my first lesson this year to forget my homework for(and i was doing so well) but i wasn't the only one, and josephson said people could have an extension till the next lesson. anyhoo, break was break, and then was computing which was pretty similar to normal even without a teacher.. i made a pacman! and then luke made a better one, but shh. lunch, WH smiths was selling Thud! early..! which was annoying. if i'd known it was on sale i'd have gotten it bought already.

anyhoo, there was comms after that, which was ok. but tang nearly confused everything by stealing my chair! and then i had to steal gillis' and gillis had to steal ollies and ollie had to steal.. so eventually tang moved.. or somthing..

oh and andy lent me a book, so yay

September 26, 2005

squish

whoopde freaking doo! monday morning - now with less sleep. anyway. hmmm.... had a free period first thing, was mainly going through the roleplay majig we had to do for comm studies. then bayliss was trying to persuade gillis to listen to nirvana.. funnily enough, he didn't have much luck. but yes. then there was comms, with the dodgy roleplays. and then, there was computing.. and and and and and shiny random triangles! or somthing..

i spent most of break trying to choose the lesser of two evils. or the lesser of two crazies, whatever. then i had a free, and not much happened. except my CD player ran out of batteries, and i didn't have my spares.. stupid thing..! anyway, after that was english, and it was the other group talking about their poem. we get to do it tomorrow.. woo.. ¬_¬

aaaanyway. lunchtime was normal, i presume. i got some actual food (well thats debatable. i got a macdonalds) instead of just my can of kick. bah, i've just remembered ABL's stupid "men in black" thing. it's so totally unfair, i was all "yeah , if i can wear any colour shirt i'll just wear black" and everyone else was supposed to wear proper colours. just cos blacks the best..

in other news, i've listend to that foo's CD a bit more, as well as the green day one. i figure some of the tracks i don't know properly on insomniac will grow on me. and one by one seems ok too

stupid kangaroo

September 25, 2005

I hope this old train breaks down, then i could take a walk around

whee. sunday morning, my one surviving lie in day. and yet, i still suffer a rude awakening ¬_¬ oh well. so i had to get up at around half one. (hush. thats early on a sunday) and sorta watched TV, until about half 3, where one of my parents had the bright idea of going bowling. so we did that. we played one game, and i came third (out of five).. i was beaten by my brother. he beat me by TWO. but i can probably claim some sort of moral victory 'cos i was trying to not use the bumpermajigs.

after we got home, i went for a walk. earlier my dad had bought a copy of green days insomniac album, so i had a new CD to listen to, woo. it was ok, but none of the songs seem too great apart from the ones that were on the superhits album (brain stew roxx0rs) but maybe i'll like some of the others after i listen to it a bit more, i only heard most of em once or twice. i'm listening to the foo fighters one by one album atm, which he also bought, and it's ok so far.

stupid hippies!

edit: oh yeah.. on my way back from my walk, i saw TWO squirrels. on my street! two at the same time, too!

September 24, 2005

Between a rock and a hard place

tum ti tum

karate happened. we learnt taisabakishodan! probably :p

not much else really happened after karate.. went to the library and totally failed to get any books, got some new headphones. stuff. went for a walk.

basically i'm bored. and that means i have too much time to think. and that can't be a good thing. and it's not, really

September 23, 2005

Zwerg!

oh dear, i did it again, didn't i? do another two days.. or not.. hmmmmm.. ok you get away without it this time. it's not my fault i didn't blog yesterday anyway, i couldn't get back on the computer for to do ANYTHING. so yesterday happened. i got the DEPUTY IT directorship for the YE company thing. deputy to david bird. oh well. apparantly it was a close call, and almost a joint directorship although even i think that would have been annoying and needlessly complex. and the company name "we" decided on am teh suxx0r. i say "we" cos i voted against it, but me and simon are the ONLY ones who did. the name is 'F:Netix' which i hope you will agree looks dodgy.

anyway, apart from that not much happened yesterday, really. there were some shiny graphics in computing but thats pretty much it. (matt made the word "Monkeys" appear many times randomly all over the screen. in multiple colours. and sizes)

so today, then. the bus wasn't packed! they gave us a bigger bus or somthing, and i actually got a seat. with space, too. i got off the bus, and took out the last can of kick from that 6 pack from my pocket and proceded to walk/drink. i was then greeted by vicki who was for some reason coming from the floyd, on foot. and i got told of for drinking kick so early in the morning, but i retorted with the whole "at least i'm not drinking alcohol at nine in the morning.." i only mentally added the yet, but meh.

lessons happened. english, stuff about what islands and storms represented in literature (we were about to start the tempest) i thought of an example of an island in literature, lord of the flies. someone else thought of an example. tracy island in the thunderbirds...

then was comms, and we got another textbook and there was a video about politicians. or somthing. break happened, and then history, and i earned a muffin. it was a pretty small muffin though..

and then it was the start of lunchtime. and it was raining. ¬_¬ went to the gate, where matt finally got his cookie.. it would have been better if he'd never gotten it..... and.. um.. tescos happened. kick was got! and me and kelly and jonny got seperated from everyone else.. so when the time came for kelly and jonny to go back to their lessons i headed off home, and about halfway was accosted and given a lift home, so i arrived slightly less wet than i could have been

and then i collapsed with glee. or somthing similar. it might have been collapsed with lack of needing to do anything

September 21, 2005

My head is MEANT to be hurting, right?

well, make this brief and cover two days in about 6 sentences, or do the drawn out slog of a blog. what do you mean you only want six sentences? screw you. i get payed by the word.

having said that, the title is not just some random song lyric, or phrase, or some obscure private joke. my head hurts in the special way it hurts when it's trying to communicate to me it wants to lie down with it's eyes closed and press the human version of Ctrl alt delete. so i'm only going to do this in a vauge chronological order for when i remember stuff i've missed out as i go along. fun for you, because it'll make less sense.

well, tuesday. i beleive the bus was packed again. they should really use a bigger bus for the number 52. at least in the morning. the word sardines, or london underground, or some similar such comparison comes to mind. so the bus journey is really sucking. and not in the good way. first thing tuesday morning i probably have english lit, and we got this chunky ass book of robert brownings poems. the two poems of his we analysed (badly) in class were dodgy, (lots of literature seems to be dodgy. it figures, since really, lots of people are dodgy) but they could have been worse. then i had a free, and i can't really remember much of what happened, but i beleive i was talking to andy and dave and alex, and probably one of the new richards. i had a period of history after that, stuff about politics and not even any interesting stuff like the gunboat diplomacy (/sigh) but oh well. after break was computing, and it was spent doing practical, i think mainly numerical stuff.

lunch was lunch. do i really need to mention the park, my now standard liquid lunch, the frisbee? i can't really remember much else so thats all you're getting. and then comm studies, more stuff about.. communication :) and there was this bit abut handshakes. i later tried the dominant handshake on andy and he didn't fight it or anything so i win (woo)

err.. this is where it gets even more blurry. i probably went on the PC when i got home, checked some stuffs, etc. i think i went to bed pretty early, but was rudely awoken somthing like an hour later, complaining all the way, to get rid of a huge spider which was scaring the mittens out of my sisters/mother. i had to have dinner after that, pizza. and i figure i floated around after that, my dads sort of trying to get our PC to recognise the new drives, and failing, and taking the PC apart, and putting it back together, and discovering he has parts he hasn't put back in (ok, not really. i hope not, anyway)

ah. and at some point i fell asleep (bliss!) but then, i woke up again (why does that always have to happen?) to go to school. i almost rolled over and went back to sleep, but i decided given the choice i'd do that every day, and i can't go doing that every day.. so i didn't. i think the bus was less packed today, but i still had to stand..

i bought a six pack of kick in tescos. i then realised i had no room in my bag. thank god for blazer pockets! anyway. registration happened, then assembly and history sort of failed to happen, because barry was preparing for the prospective parents evening. i volunteered my AMAZING ICT skills to help (what do you mean i only got a C? dude, that coursework was done completely in two days, and it was like 60% of the mark. so stfu) and i spent the lesson making a pretty post telling people about the percentage of A* students in history a-level etc etc. and comm studies was mainly learning stuff about models (no, we're not talking FHM, go back to sleep) and then starting to work on a roleplay. i get to pretend to be a drunk driver next lesson! woo

arr. break, coke, PSHE, forms, jonny, gillis, and kelly volunteering to do heavy lifting... ¬_¬ just no.. then computing, and we started earning some stuff about programing graphics! i was surprised by this cos i was looking for it in the textbook. it was cool. matt got distracted by the pretty colours. and then there was park-ing and frisbee-ing, and the frisbee was almost stolen but it was saved from the evil clutches of "those other guys" and returned to safety. i tried to auction of ABLs phone/Ipod, but jonny stole the ipod, and then ABL noticed i wasn't looking after his stuff so much as messing with it.

fencing was tiring. i managed to get told off lots! woo! and so forth. dave wanted to hit me with.. i mean teach me how to use the sabres, but he was foiled. heh. and stuff. then japanese sorta happened, and um. yes! i went to the bus station with alex and vicki. after vicki went off on her bus we were accosted by that katy girl who probably goes to cadets (i was supposed to be paying attention because..?) and a short while later some other floyd students.. one of whom claimed to know me through my older sister.. but i was stumped. STUMPED I TELL THEE!

anyway. walked home, felt like collapsing (although i should point out i felt like collapsing pretty much since the start (yes, not the end) of fencing. but after a cup of tea, i completely failed to collapse. i eventually got round to lieroing, and in a best out of 5 i beat andy! and then me and andy did a team deathmatch against jonny, matt and alex. and we took off the max kills! god, it was good to finally get more than 20 kills again. i got somthing like 37 at the end, winning it for me and andy, cos he died a little before i killed jonny/alex. on his last life, matt killed himself :D

and then i wrote this. then i wrote that sentence back there. and that one.

ok i'll stop that now

So there's my 2546 Cents. i give ya more than just 2, i do.

EDIT: oh, and i nearly forgot. on the way home today, i saw another squirrel. mining for gold in siberia my ass! more like digging for dirt in aylesbury!

September 19, 2005

The truth is you should have stayed in bed

Today was a exactly the same as any other day except it was completely different. ok so that doesn't make much sense but i'll get over it. the bus was jam packed with people, like sardines it was. then there was tescos and kick and registration and and and and then the world exploded. OR i had a free period and wrote most of my english essay. gillis and bayliss were an annoying distraction. then comm studies was more stuff about stuff. and computating was mainly practical, arr. oh god. then alex was talking like a moron. i mean a pirate! because apparantly it's talk like a retar.. like a pirate day. my free period 5 was spent finishing that essay, and then floating around, before english. i got away with just reading out the poem and then rob daly did all the analysis so i win, and stuff. arrrrfter english it was lunchtime, and um yes. alex had gone to a doctors appointment (according to jonny he had a problem with somthing that rhymes with brain... right...) and i bought a baguette which was terrible so andy got it. so now i must never ever listen to andy ever again. ever. indeed. then there was japanese, so yeah.

mmm pie

September 17, 2005

~I wanna stab an american idiot~

whee. weekends. not getting up at stupid o'clock in the morning. but on saturdays i do have to get up, for karate. so that happened. and simon was shockingly absent. so was mark, but that was sort of expected. there was cake at one point. it wasnt very good cake though.. but i suppose i shouldn't complain cos it was free. didn't eat all of it either, but! i didn't complain :p

the rest of the day floated past. i saw another squirrel.. they're not even TRYING to hide anymore, it's just terrible. they must know they've been busted. oh well. that can only mean they'll make their move soon.. maybe not today, maye not tomorrow.. but soon.

after looking at my statcounter deely, i've had another hit from a search engine. the term used? my name. how that happened i have no idea. and who uses msn search anyway..

~and bleed, the company lost the war today~

sorry. it won't happen again. after this

~another protestor has crossed the line, to find, the moneys on the other side~

i don't really have anything else to say......... so.... i won't say anything else

September 16, 2005

I have many issues, and all of them are matt

another day, another dollar. wait, i'm not IN payed employment, just school. damn. another day, another... day. yeah. well. i was in late due to a doctors appointment so apparantly everyone thought i was dead (again). i walked in halfway through english and was handed some sheets. let me write for you a short extract from this story

"Then she drew her blouse over her head; her small breasts gleamed as if the snow had invaded the room."

now perhaps you can see why i was surprised by this. there is more, but i'm not going to spend the rest of the night writing it out for i fear that would get me a lot of dodgy comments. anyway, comm studies was more stuff about body language, mainly signs people give off, or avoid trying to give off when they're lieing. we got homework, the "basic" homework which i've forgotten, so i'll have to see if gillis can remember, and the "advanced" homework which was to touch someone and see what difference it made. now this is another point where i'm going to try avoid dodgy comments..

break was broken. so there. history, more politics, mr barry seems a bit of a dodgy teacher. somthing comes up and he goes "i won't explain that now 'cos i don't know how to explain it properly" so that's just a little worrying. lunch, and tescos was packed almost to the point where you had to physically wade through the crowd. and i'm not even joking.

after lunch i had a double free, so it was "home study" without the home. or the study. i've just remembered somthing which happened earlier.. Haywood and Bickerton were telling ABL off, apparantly for telling Alexei about some rumour. craziness.

the revolution and it's controller look awesome, and a lot less like a kids toy than the 'cube :p

September 15, 2005

Hero worship is bad for you

more school. and it's getting to that point where it seems like we've been back at school for.. forever, but it's not even been two weeks. it just feels like so much has happened. amazingly i don't think i've actually heard ABL say that he needs a holiday! if it feels like forever now.. what will it feel like at half term?

anyway. school. bus. packed. we're talking sardines. i made the mistake of trying to change the batteries in my CD player during the journey. i dropped the same battery TWICE. oy. extended reg, i was going to volunteer for captain of house writing thingumy but either it didn't come up or i wasn't paying close enough attention. computing and history, more of the same of what we've been doing. politics and programing. english was some weird stuff. our homework is to write a poem ¬_¬

lunch was lunch. it seemed briefer than usual. it was wet. there was no frisbeeing! but after lunch i sort of played basketball with matt, sam and mark. it was tiring. then there was some floating around before i went to the after school young enterprise deely. it looks like it could be interesting. i'm gonna try for either Marketing Director or the IT one.

my brother asked to read Fahrenheit 451. for those of you who don't know, or need reminding, my brother is SIX YEARS OLD. god.

September 14, 2005

Is she ultraviolet, is she disturbed?

man i love that song. anyway, there are some more blurry bits today so bear with me. sort of got up.. around half seven (and i was doing so well at the start of the year. wait, that was only a week ago? damn) and stumbled my way through breakfast of sorts and all the rest of the stuff that happens before school. i think everyone was on time today, so no ranting from nathan. and yeah, assembly, wasn't really paying attention so lets say blur. history was more political crud for the first half of the lesson but then for most of the second period we were watching blackadder ¬_¬ which was funny, but unexpected. comm studies is still interesting.. warner was amazed by the amount of sexism displayed by our class.. (note, the class. i was behaving. what do you mean you don't beleive me?)

anyhoo that was followed by photos, laughing at matt, and then computing. "do you want to do practical, or theory" smart question from the teacher there. and i went the wrong way about doing a program but because it was thought through logically i still won! and stuff. andy was saying things like "i don't understand" one minute and giving me advice the next minute.. and when the teacher showed us how to do it properly i swear he said he told me so. but he never did!

lunch probably had more frisbee-ing and.. it was hot. like woah i'm melting AND dehydrated hot. fencing was odd. and um then there was japanese and everyone seems to have forgotten most of it over the summer! apart from passing, we were given back our papers, so i can put like results..

Topic 1
Listening - 27/30
Reading - 30/30
Writing - 29/30
Speaking - 28/30

Topic 3
Listening - 27/30
Reading - 23/30
Writing - 21/30
Speaking - 28/30

so i did good in most of them but slightly worse in the reading/writing for topic 3..
i think we do topic 2 and 4 and then we get a GCSE. or somthing.

look! an angry army of mutinous squirrels!

September 13, 2005

What do you MEAN there are no bears in aylesbury?

i'm pretty sure tuesday happened although large bits of it are a blur.

ok, so there was registration, where people coming in late interrupted mr nathans speech about not being late. assembly is one of those blurs. english was some poetry analysis in pairs.. and me and rob (somthing or other) got this odd and honestly just dodgy poem about a farmer. and his tractor. with a sort of random and haphazarded structure..

and then i had a free period, and so did alex and dave and andy. there was a bit that went like this:

ABL: we need to.. on saturday.. we need to..
Me: It would really help if you finished your sentences
ABL: shut..

and then he changed subject again. he started doing it again later, but on purpose to annoy me. probably. anyhoo, history was more stuff about that crazy guy with the gunship diplomacy, and break was, well, break.

computing was more stuff about stuff. blurry again. then lunch happened, and it was basically more park.. ing.. and frisbee.. ing.. the frisbee always starts of being thrown between like three people, and then a crowd sort of.. grows.. at the end, the frisbee got stuck in a tree, one of the big ones, and that new guy richard (can't just say richard.. imagine gillis climbing a tree..) climed the tree and got it down

comm studies was stuff about body language mainly, and um.. um...... yeah

i think its a good thing i don't live in america otherwise i would probably get sued by my teeth. boy do they feel uch.

September 12, 2005

Don't touch my mustache

and thus began the second week of sixth form. got up at quarter to 8, got ready for school in 15 minutes, and got the bus. went straight to tescos and picked me up a six pack of kick which theoretically could last me a week but will actually only last for two or three days. (its lasted for more than one already so hush) and then after registration i had a free period which was partially spent arguing over who said what on the sheet from comm studies, and also was spent finishing my english homework. and listening to american idiot instead of ollie or gillis.

anyhoo, after that was comm studies with warner and the computing which was mostly talking about ASCII and we didn't get to do any practical stuff. after break i spent a free period starting fahrenheit 451 (which neil lent me so woo) and um stuff. english was odd and many people managed to tell who wrote the extracts without having read the text, i mean ok with the shakespeare, but the chaucer and the wordsworth and the dickens? they didn't google their homework at all ¬_¬ heh heh. what the dickens. you should probably ignore that bout of randomness.

anyhoo, at lunch there was lunch, and matt ended up carrying sammis bag for the whole lunchtime, even when sammi and alex went off in a different direction. now since it was sammis bag, that meant matt was carrying around a pink bag all lunch time. i have NO IDEA whatsoever about why we all found it incredibly amusing. none at all.

their was a very.. very.. brief frisbee session. like less than 5 minutes. crazy lunch, ending like that and everything. japanese was odd, and so forth. then when i got home there was somthing about the stalker having a stalker (thats matt and some random person who apparantly turned out to be sammi, who now seems to be a serial stalker, having both matt and jonny on her stalked list. more craziness.

September 11, 2005

BURN THEM ALL

I just tried what is quite possibly the worst energy drink in the entire universe. i was out wandering around, and felt like a drink of red bull, so i went to the shop. which was closed. so i went to the garage, which was open, but amazingly expensive. so i looked at my other options. sugar free red bull was pretty much out, although for some inexplicable reason it was cheaper than red bull... odd.. anyway. my options were to fork out somthing like 2.50 for red bull, or buy somthing like red devil or somthing. looking at the "fake" red bulls, one caught my eye. it had a black can, with a single flame on it (it looked cool) and the name was "Burn" so it seemed pretty cool, and it was cheaper. so i bought it.

i find it rather ironic that kick and red bull look like piss but taste good, and this drink, which was sort of reddish in colour, tasted like piss. well, a mixture of red bull, piss and rocket fuel. maybe it's not actually a drink and the word "burn" on the can is an instruction, and it's actually a small fuel canister? or maybe i should find the people who made it and burn them for their crimes against humanity. it was almost worse than that six pack of tesco value cola.. and the less said about that the better

What a waste of a small woodland area

so today i was manhandled into tidying my room, a task i was sure would require a tactical nuke, or at least some form of flame propulsion system, but i was given the task with only my hands and a couple of bin bags. and now, for the first time since.. whenever it was last tidy, there is FLOORSPACE in my room. more importantly, for the first time since before i started GCSE's, i also have DESK SPACE. for this to happen i had to shift what was quite literally a mountain of paper. of waste paper. all those poor trees had to die for naught! oh well. my concience will recover eventually, i'm sure.

on a related note, there is one place in my room which remains untidy, the compact area known as "no mans land" or less formally "under my bed" where it is far to dangerous to venture without some sort of protective clothing, and possibly a shovel. i might be coerced into braving the deeps of this lost land, but not today.

in other news, i didn't actually get out of bed till about one. so the old habits of sleeping through the day are not yet dead! will this completely screw my head up tomorrow when i have to get up at seven am? only time will tell

September 10, 2005

Don't you know you've got your daddy's eyes.. Daddy was an alcoholic

And then the weekend started happening. karate today, good but that kid who's an orange belt is extremely scary... and.. yeah.. stuff.. anyhoo, after karate i bought some ring binder thingamajigs for.. school.. cos i only had one folder thingy last week, and i now have one for each subject.. black for comm studies and black for computing, red for english and blue for history! so yes. now i have to remember to bring the right ones in on the right day.. but oh well.

had to walk back home from karate in the rain, which i didn't mind too much, cos rain doesn't really bother me.. and stuff.. yeah..

people are confusing

September 08, 2005

The pie will soon be mine

woo, got up, got bus, got coke, err.. got.. warning back from dave, had computing, got given the disc for delphi, had.. um.. history, turns out the palmerston dude liked to threaten other countries into doing what he wanted with gunboats...

i got a sausage roll from the non-sixth form tuck shop and stand by my statement that they're better. then we got williams to sign our home study forms for tomorrow. had english, we read a short story by the dude who wrote fahrenheit 451 (which i still have to find a copy of), seemed a bit boring at first but then there was a twist at the end...

we had lunch then. it was funny, we went to the park, and all the guys in the basketball court thingy were frisked for drugs by the police.. it was especially funny cos some of these people were alexei peternev, mark hamilton and david haywood.. heh..

then, we had a long talk about time management, which was such an ironic waste of time it's not even funny.

so yeah. zomfg

Freesbee

woke up about half seven, i forgot to set my alarm last night, so meh. then, after i was ready and waiting at the bus stop and everything.. the bus went PAST me.. so i headed off to school more than a little annoyed and expecting to be late, but i got there pretty quickly, so yeah. history became a lesson in politics, comm studies with warner was interesting for different reasons to piggfords lesson, and ollie tried to persuade me to call andy tinny, and gillis "the gillmeister". calling gillis this seems to annoy the hell out of him, so i'll probably do that whenever i remember..

anyhoo, the PSHCE (or whatever it is now) talk was just boring, and then computing was brief, and um yeah. then, well we were supposed to have games but they havn't finished doing the options, so we were basically allowed to go home at lunchtime, but we sort of didn't.. people wandered around, we ended up in the park, and most of time was spent throwing around the freesbee, cos andy made a spelling mistake when doodling on the frisbee. so yeah.

uhh... uh.. yeah

I fight dirty, just like your looks

well today was ok. i got up when my alarm went of at 7, amazingly. i wonder how long it'll take till i start getting up at ten to eight again. anyway, got to school, went to tescos with matt, got kick, went to registration and got the snazzy green homework diaries. had double english lit first thing, and it was ok. we were talking about these six mini extract type things, and were supposed to analyse them or just give thoughts on them. two of the six extracts ended up to actually be from contents pages... so that was weird. i had a free period then, and just sat in the study hall with ABL and eventually dave and andy.

i'm like.. all alone in history... we didn't do any real work, just got told about the coursework, we basically have to do two huge things, and both of the coursework subjects seem a little dull.. and they're from like the 1800's.. so thats gonna be fun... i reckon history might end up as my least favourite subject.

at break i tried one of the sausage rolls in the 6th form common room.. and i have to say the greasy ones in the normal school canteen taste better.. AND cheaper too, but i probably won't be bothered enough to go there.

after break we had computing and we were basically just given this huge pile of worksheets and told to work through them. i reckon they're just trying to keep us busy till the exams :) the work doesn't seem so hard, and the time went by real quickly.. matt said "there's blatantly like one number you can't get in binary..." after he started to understand it, but i pointed out people probably would've noticed by now.

at lunch i just sort of followed the group around, with nimrod on, and sort of half listening to whoever was talking to me.

after lunch i started looking for the wrong room to go to comm studies, so i checked my timetable and found out i'm there later in the week... i think.. but i got there before the class started anyway. it was cool, we spent most of the double doing the register... and i'm in gillis' class, so i don't have to sit by myself in the corner! it was good anyway, piggford seems like a cool teacher.

anyway, then i um.. walked home.. so yeah

right

Oh yeah...

mittens! i forgot to mention before, but since my phone was found and given back to me, i have about 14 days of mini-blogging on it, from the irelands. if anyone wants to see it, i'll post it up at some ppint

it's easy to see that something here isn't right

Well. the Last Day. with capital letters and everything. In some ways, it's sorta good that we're going back, as jonny said, but i know i'll be one of the first to complain after we've been back. and hey, it'll be different this year. maybe not better. probably not much worse. just different.

anyway, today. it being the last day and all, i did absolutely nothing special to commemerate it whatsoever :) well thats not technically true. i wrote a poem this morning (we're talking this morning before i went to bed, not this morning after i got up) and the link in the title will take you to it. arr. anyway. what DID happen after i got up was mainly some floating, before i went out for a walk. (crazy, summer ENDS and i start doing stuff...) i was just walking along, and the batteries in my CD player died. after 6 songs. with fresh batteries. man, my CD player sucks..

anyway, i walked to tescos, albeit without my music. i got some kick. i walked home, and got back just in time to get some chicken burgers off of the barbie, and drink some coke. after i finished eating, i was gonna crash out in the yard and enjoy the sun (with my dads significantly superior CD player) when i was called upon to help move stuff. fun...

the stuff in question was loads of my sisters crud in the garage from when she got back from uni, but couldn't put in her room then. the furniture was being dumped though, so it was cool cos i got to kick it to pieces, which was fun.

anyway, after that i did get to crash out in the garden, with warning on the CD player, but by then the sun was mostly gone. so now i'm just floatin' around, waitin for the rest of the day to happen.

man.. the summer holidays are like.. over..

The more people i find beleive in god, the less i find i beleive in people

i got up some time in the early afternoon, finished off the orange juice and the apple juice in the fridge, and sort of floated around for a bit. today was/is the last day of the holidays, and i spent it the way i spent most of them, getting up late and doing very little. although, around four my mum, cousin and brother decided to check out the crazy happenings in the park and it was suggested i join them, so i did. we didn't stay for long, and it didn't look like there was much of interest there. some stupid kids were going around shaking the portaloo thingies while people were in them.. i felt like catching one and giving him a good thump.

a little while later we got back home, and after some sitting around watching some music (yes, that does make sense) i decided to get off my butt (a rare occurance. there should have been someone there to take a photo) so i went for a walk. admitadely only to the budgens in jansel square, but hey. i timed my walk to last for one play through of warning, so thats somthing like 45 minutes. although that includes the time spent in the shop buying some coke. and.. "macy's day parade" wasn't over when i got to my house, so i sat outside for a minute or two.

last night my brother fell asleep, re-reading Harry Potter and the Philosiphers Stone. i felt i had to take this picture, so i figured i might as well post it too.

Holy DAMN crap! pirates!

well, today i got up around quarter past twelve, before my alarm, got breakfast and talked to jonny on msn till about one, and then i gathered my stuffs and set of to walk into town, with my headphones on and warning in the CD player. when i got to jardines at about ten to two, dave and matt were waiting outside, and apparantly andy was.. shopping or somthing, and so we only had to wait for jonny. who i knew for definite was coming cos he'd said "see you at 2" to me like an hour and a bit earlier. jonny didn't actually turn up till about 25 past two >_< and of all things to talk about, matt and dave were talking about work. yeesh. or more particularly, work training, as neither of them have actually started working yet. i think. i sort of tuned out.

anyway, after jonny showed up we checked the price to go bowling (and matt played with the lift)and then headed off to get food. somehow, we were headed for macdonalds instead of some place that sells those stupid baguette type things! i was amazed. i was actually gonna be able to get some food for a change. we had macdonalds, and talked, and then went bowling. jonny won. i came last, but it was fun. jonny got like, twice everyone elses score...

anyway. i digress. we went to tescos after that, and got drinks, and hung out in the park. we talked and stuff, i think mainly about school and music. and some marquees appeared arround us. and some crazy hippy dude came over and begged about a quid off us... :S but yeah. after that we pretty much just all wandered off in our seperate directions, first dave got on his bus, then matt got a lift and me and jonny headed toward the bus station. we went into the library first tho, and i asked the dude where they had Fahrenheit 451, but APPARANTLY i have to go back tomorrow when they can get it from the stock or somthing. so yeah. then jonny got on his bus and i headed home.

then, long story short, nothing much happened.

:p
