Ho hum. Some things happened. some other things, on the other hand, didn't. some of the things that didn't happen include dinosaurs attacking the earth from outer space to crush us due to our general inferiority. also, we did not have a plague of beans. and i can honestly say i didnt go back in time and kill the identical twin i never had in the first place.

converesly, some of the things that did happen include most of friday, which was a generally odd day. i only had a lesson periods 1 + 2, because both comm studies and history were cancelled due to whatever, and so english occured. it's naturally occuring, you know. like rocks. anyway, i hadn't done the essay, so spent a bit of the rest of the day writing the essay for the lesson i had first. it shouldn't work.. but it does.

oh, and jonny rocks. he made me a copy of Hot Fuss, which i had before, but was then lost (not by me) and i've wanted to listen to it again for aaages. so woo.

the main reason i was hanging around was the F:Netix stall at the conservative... thing.. so that happened as well.. one of the main things i remember is simon being afraid of talking to people.. because they were a) conservative and b) old..

apparantly simon found the actual conservative talk thing very amusing, albeit in a 'ha ha they have such stupid ideals' way. i didn't listen to it, mainly because i couldn't care less about politics and general and the conservative party in particular.

when i got home, i began the arduos task of installing WoW.. and i don't know when it was exactly, but it must've been before eight, and it didn't finish properly until just before midnight. I'm annoyed with it at the moment, because while i havn't played it that much, it's partially because it won't let me. i've been disconnected twice today, after queueing to join the server for about 5 minutes each time. and during actual play it's been a bit laggy, which is odd because it wasn't for the 10 or so minutes i played it yesterday. i have a feeling that no MMORPG will be able to compare to the idealised version i have of FFXI in my head..

teh tuesday. what to say about it though.. of the three essays i had to hand in today, i handed in.. none.. i got reprimanded for not handing in.. none.. the time will come for retribution, but that time is not now. so yeah.

in other news, my head hurts more than it should. and technically in more ways than one, but lets not go into that because of the throbbing and the ow.

what else.. the only green day album i am now missing is shenanigans, so yeah

anyway, was up till like three writing my first draft of my history essay. might as well not have bothered, seeing as i asked barry if i could hand it in on monday, slightly edited and typed up properly and everything.. but i suppose if i hadnt done it i might have ended up not doing it.. at all.. so yeah. i then completely failed to do the english essay, but seeing as only 1/3 of the class did, it's not such a big deal, we just have to do it for monday. along with the other english essay, and the draft of another history question.. and i have to get some computing done too..

oh joyous days..!

i don't really want to write too much more, i can probably just say that the words 'blech' or 'meh' and possibly even a very heavy sigh, would sum up today. apathy abounds, amongst other things. but karate tomorrow, which is good. especially seeing as i missed it last saturday. and even better, i can go on monday and thursday next week. i'd say something like woo or whatever but i don't really feel like it.

okay, i'll start at least trying to make sense. but i promise nothing. today was that most.. long? of days, more comonly known as the lesser spotted wednesday. with a natural habitat classed as "school" this day is particularly unique because it is longer than the other days, due to the addition of japanese.

damn, the whole making sense thing.. well.. and i just whacked my knee, ow.. um yeah, school. i had to buy DIET coke this morning :( bleh. you can practically taste the lack of sugar/presence of chemicals.

lessons were normal. i thought i had to hand in a draft of my first history coursework today, but cos of barrys haphazard approach to teaching, the draft he set us for today last lesson, he told us how to write today, and then told us we had to hand it in NEXT lesson. not that i'm complaining, as i hadn't done it. comms was more about freud, and some of his more controversial theories. such as the one that to be normal you had to be afraid that your father would castrate you, and then, for the memory of that fear to become subconcious.

i think freud NEEDED a psycho-analyst, personally. that wasnt even the worst of it.

heck, i don't wanna know, and i do. maybe F:Netix should start selling amnesia dust! we could just really sell salt or sugar or something and give a disclaimer saying it may or may not cause amnesia.. wonder if that would work..

i digress. we were let out a little early from comms, and the tuckshop was CLOSED!!!!!!!!! how dare it! well, probably it dares because it's min's and she can kill six people with one hand! and only with five fingers too..!

anyway, PSHE was a big blank space. there was doodling, and nathan was yakking away about something. computing was spent 'productively'. thats my story and i'm sticking to it until i can think of a better one.

lunch, alex was doing whatever it was, a physics retest or something of a similar nature, and we just went to tescos where much cheap and scabby produce was purchased by people like dave and matt, and then liberated from them, at least until it was tasted, and deemed inhumane even by the standards of most poisons.

fencing was largely spent loitering, really. i only fenced briefly, against armstrong. so yeah. japanese was normal but alex got told off for missing last weeks lesson, and for not having his stuff for (at least) the second time, and also for not having vickys stuff.. he planned that one badly..

another monday come and gone.

well, nearly. ok, so it's still monday, so it hasn't technically gone anywhere yet. but that's completely and utterly irrelevant. what happened today.. apart from the usual, horizon had a really dodgy notice in assembly.. and period one was spent failing to do any work, and simultaneously taking the piss out of both ollie and gillis, alternating between the two. comms was some crazy talking about freud, and stuff. i got told off in computing :o well, after computing. because i was talking instead of working and not being on task. as a result, i blame matt, so yeah.

found out today that i can go to karate on mondays and thursdays now to prepare for the grading, which i would do anyway, but actually need to do, cos of stuff. i mean it seems like we've only been blue belts for a little while and we're already preparing to go up to green :o i don't think i mentioned that i missed karate on sat, cos i didn't really post prop'ly over the weekend. anyway, my free after break was spent doodling and listening to music, and then it was english, where we were doing more of brownings (crap) poems. lunch was.. lunch? tescos thwarted my attempt to get any food i actually wanted, although i did get some mini coke cans so i wasn't too annoyed.

me, ABL and dave skived off japanese, and dave and alex spent the time playing civ2 in the study hall. i spent most of it giving dave advice, and.. yeah. then i went home and the WORLD AS WE KNOW IT ENDED

Playing with fire

so i'm messing about with the title image among other things, so don't be too FLUMOXED by changes that happen to the appearance of the site. i'm just playing with my new toys, fireworks and flash and whatnot. forgot to mention that the other day, david bird gave me a CD with a bunch of stuff on it. so i'm now messing around with it...!

And then the sky fell

quite a good day today, cos i missed a bunch of lessons. first off i only had to go to half of english, then i completely missed comm studies. after that was history, got set the first draft of the first bit of coursework ¬_¬ so i have to do that at some point.

hmm.. lunch, after some vauge wandering it was decided that we might as well go to tescos, so me and dave.. went.. i got two titchy coke cans and me and dave split the cost of a box of titchy chocolate donuts (you can get small everything, woo!) and proceeded to eat them all. they were pretty good but not the sort of thing you wanna eat half a box of at a time o_O which is what we did. 7 was spent hanging around the common room, and RE was just stupid.. WOO! our team got MINUS points in the utilitarianism game-test thing!

teh thursday. got up all on time and everything.

in other news school happened. it was the usual stuff. computing, with stuff about files, and history with some talking, and that other one, english. with the shakespeare. although, at the end of break neil was making people try his death sauce, which against my better judgement i DID try, and said it was aptly named. my tounge stopped burning halfway through english ¬_¬ then there was the YE meeting at lunch. which i can't talk about :|

i spent periods seven and eight pretty much just wandering around.

despite the monday-ness of tuesday, wednesday didn't feel like tuesday. it didn't feel like wednesday either though, because wednesday doesn't have it's own feeling, it just feels like 'Generic school day' thursday and tuesday also feel like this, but i digress. i was late today. except i wasn't really, as i was on time. but i had to walk in, anyway. i got UP late, that'll do. assembly is little more than a blur, and history was more discussing how to write essays properly. we got our essays back in comms, mine was ok, and then break happened. had to buy some riesens cos there were no donuts and i wanted some chocolate..

PSHE was sage talking about university applications. my heard hurts just thinking about it -_- we were given these profile thingies.. bleh.. anyhow, computing was after that, and it was theory, more stuff about how files are stored on cumputatorers and... yeah..

lunch was.. it seemed shorter than usual? after a brief stint into town, we lost alex and sammi and.. probably matt too, so me and tom and jonny went to Tescos cos.. it was there. and i had to collect my dads car keys from the garage type place opposite tescos, so it was handy.

after lunch was fencing, and we started this official competition-majig. i beat alex ^_^ which annoyed him immensely, and thats always good. japanese was after that, but alex was.. doing somthing else, so not there. and vicky was ill or something, so there were only 3 people AT japanese. i got given both vicky AND alex's vocab test back and handouts from that lesson for them both.. arr..

then, i was tired.. or walked back home, i foget which..

..maybe it was both?

What an odd thing to say

today felt like a monday, even though it wasn't. not BECAUSE it wasn't though. it was probably more because the actual monday wasn't spent at school. but oh well. it was a normal tuesday apart fomr an odd feeling of deja vu in computing, and i skived of the non compulsory F:Netix meeting. i'd go through the more interesting aspects of the day in more detail but i cannot, as jonny would say, be asked, and i'm also being kicked off the PC, but i wanted to finish this cos i actually started it about an hour ago ¬_¬

so yeah. apparantly 'we' have the weirdest conversations. i thought it was everyone.. but no it turns out we're special.

Intending to burn, pretending to fight it

so it is/was haloween today, but that only sort of affected me in passing. i was supposed to get up early (for me) today, so i set my alarm, but somehow managed to wake up waaaay before the alarm was supposed to go off o_O which was especially weird cos i got up at 10, after going to sleep at around 6.. so i only got four hours of sleep

which is not only not like me at all, it's also incredibly crazy

...those two things are not mutually exclusive

anyway, the reason i was having to get up was because we were having a 'going to japan for ten months, no really, not just a passing idea' meeting at alex's. and as i expected, we didn't really spend that long talking about japan. we probably spent more time talking about how we weren't talking about japan, and even then there wasn't much of that.

well i can't think of much else except the whole eek school tomorrow. theres probably work i shoulda done and all. almost definately, but oh well.
