4 AM forever

So.. yeah..

went round tom's yesterday, and the overnight alcohol fueled celebration of his birthday was pretty good, even if it was just me, matt, dave and (obviously) tom. vicki was there early on, but left before anything interesting happened, as at the point we'd merely started drinking, and mostly were just watching advent children (which was pretty good.. many swords and stuffs)

apart from general conversation, and matt booting up the PS2.. to play it.. by himself.. not much happened.. ok, there was the vodka and chocolate (which didn't work as well as it could have, and just gave the vodka a very very slight chocolate hint)

and the umbrella. which was a continuing theme throughout the night. it was RED, for the love of all that is uber. red = awesome. red secret stabbing implement? that's like the BEST THING EVER.

ok, so there are better things. quite a lot of better things. that doesn't detract from the awesomeness of the umbrella.

the fact that from that point on I repeatedly waved around a little red cocktail umbrella shouting "UMBRELLA" was a clear indicator to me that I was a little bit drunk.

or something.

from this point on, my version of events is a bit hazy, but roughly around 5 AM, give or take a half hour, we went Outside. capital O and all. walking along the road (read as: swaying along the road) at stupid o'clock in the morning was incredibly amusing. we were headed for the park (and we got there, woo for drunken navigation), where many drunken shenanigans were had, which tom has photographic/video evidence of.

needless to say, there was a terrible hangover this morning.. or this evening.. whichever way you want to look at it.

the important thing is that fun was had by all, and.. yeah. alcohol
