'Twas the night before christmas

or the night before school, whichever works best.

went paintballing yesterday, which was fun. it was sort of a celebration for marc's birthday, so as a result the only people i knew were marc (duh), alex, sammi, sammi's annoying younger brother, and matt. there were quite a few other people, some from marc's work, but most of whom were friends of his sister. anyhow, it was fun, i didn't actually get hit anywhere but the head, (sods law because of the free body armour and the gloves thieved from matt) but oh well. not sure how many I killed, because of poor sight and multiple people shooting at single targets, but oh well. there was one good bit when our team was defending, and four of the blue team lined up and ran towards me.. and the people further forward from me, defending my flank.. they all died, funnily enough. didn't know where they were being shot from, which was everywhere \o/

also, the red team (us) won by quite a significant amount, so go us. it was something like 70 points to 270, or more. i forget, but it was a 200 + difference if i recall correctly.. and we won or drew most of the games, except for the one where the other team had unlimited respawn and we didnt. but when we had unlimited respawn, and THEY didn't, we beat them faster.. so we still win :D

bummed around town with dave and alex today for a bit, but nothing much happened except some light banter. some of which concerned the going back to school.. on which note, i shall depart, because i do have to get *some* sleep, in order to wake up on time.
